"Forgiveness is the fragrance that the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it" - Mark Twain
Isn't that a great quote? I am reflecting on it today -- maybe you want to also?
These two pictures are cell phone pictures but they are still fun. I went to Helena on Saturday and spent a cold night car camping with Zoey and Cadi at an agility trial -- brrr... I got a text from Galen telling me that Syd was all tuckered out and ready for bed with this picture of Syd in MY nice, warm bed:
Asia and I are are diligently practicing for the California draft test, which is at the end of next week. Because she will be competing in open, she has to pull 90 pounds so we are working on conditioning and are up to 75 pounds. We typically just go down our private lane to the mailboxes and then turn around and come back -- it is almost one-half mile round trip and has a slight incline so a really nice conditioning route. Today The Steves (our name for the ten steers who live in the pasture in front of our house -- yes, we named them all Steve :) decided it was time for a parade and frolicked along with us, cheering Asia on as she pulled her cute cart with 75 pounds. I had to laugh -- you don't have that kind of distraction in the city!
Fall is definitely here and that means lovely colors, cool days and even cooler nights, and just one more season between now and when Kim (aka Dear Husband) comes up for good -- I cannot wait!!!
